After 15 years as a graphic designer, Kelly Pearson returned to school and graduated summa cum laude in Fine Arts from New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. It was there she started experimenting with unusual materials such as rope, felted wool, and steel wool. Her sculpture has been selected to be shown in Massachusetts galleries: Atlantic Works Gallery in Boston; Caladan Gallery in Beverly, and Gallery X in New Bedford. As well as a special one night show at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She lives in New Bedford, Massachusetts in a restored 19th century sea captain’s house.
